BeWrite Books strongly opposes DRM (Digital Rights Management) software padlocks on ebooks and does its utmost to ensure that third-party retailers honour our demand to leave our books DRM-free. Some are errant. DRM is NO deterrent to piracy, as is claimed, merely an insult and inconvenience to the honest buyer. We want you free to read our ebooks anywhere, any time, on any device, to easily convert them to other formats if desired, and to fairly share them with family and friends as you might our printed books. (We trust you not to make a business out of it.) So should you buy a BeWrite Books ebook from ANYWHERE and discover DRM restrictions imposed against our wishes, just email contact[at]bewrite.net and we will immediately and freely replace it with an identical but DRM-free copy. No proof of sale is necessary, but we would appreciate your identifying the offending store. Please don’t forget to let us know your preferred digital format to save you the trouble of conversion.
Happy and carefree e-reading, folks.
