Reno
Charlton, author of children's fantasy Secret Portal II:The Vampire
Returns, is in her early thirties and lives in England's West Midlands.
She shares her home with her computer engineer husband, Philip, and

Brought up on a mixture

by the sequel, which was published in December 2002.
Reno's love of writing has
also led her become a qualified copywriter as well as undertaking
a copyediting and proofreading course with Chapterhouse.
Although she currently works
full-time for Sanctuary Housing Association, Reno hopes to one day
be bale to take up writing for children as a full-time career. Like
her previous work, she intends to continue to write fantasy books
for children.
