Vinegar Moon

"... in Vinegar Moon, readers are led along the paths and carried by the currents of truly remarkable writing." Wayne Lanter, Author of Canonical Hours

Heather Grace Stewart, Editor, BeWrite Books:
Donna Biffar's poetry is intelligent, thought-provoking art at its very best. Her poems are so multi-layered, it takes a careful read to let all their imagery unfold. Then the Biffar magic begins:

"I was across the yard, the neurasthenic light
of summer left to this brown grass season,
the vinegar moon we asked for
when I saw one white eye
aimed at the sky,
the wind lifting his neck's hair,
the follicle peppered flesh that showed
how cells divided.
The kids made up a name and called it.
Sleeping dogs lie."

"…in that dark, hormonal summer, when our bodies were stars,
reflecting light, but already gone"

Pick up Biffar's Vinegar Moon, and discover a whole new world that lies beneath.

"Get hold of this book and behold an amazing talent." Sam Smith, Editor, The Journal, Original Plus Press
